Gail Ader has a degree in Italian Studies from Wheaton College an a master’s in Early Childhood Education from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. She is also a state incensed elementary school teacher, PreK – 2nd grade.
Early Childhood Education has been the sole focus of Gail’s professional journey since 1998. She has taught in both preschool and elementary school and has served as a preschool director in diverse programs, including most recently as Head Start program director in Boston. Gail believes that children learn and grow best in developmentally appropriate classrooms in which they gain agency over their own learning. Inclusive environments that support the needs of diverse learners and a culturally competent staff are key factors in the quality and success of a program.
